Station 2 is a 30X60 building was constructed in 1982 near the Austin County Fair Grounds at a cost of $20,000. The need was seen for a second station located in the city due to the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) railroad track that divide Bellville. This created a response problem to other areas. The department built this station from donations and fund raisers. When this station opened it housed a booster and a engine.
